The First National Bank Junior Board of Directors is continuing to gain hands-on experience in every aspect of running a business. 
 
The January meeting focused on operations, with students exploring real-world decisions like whether to lease, buy, or build a facility. After reviewing options and costs, Contactix Corporation chose to lease a building for product assembly.
 
Board members also voted Emma Heringhaus (Ottawa-Glandorf High School) as CEO, purchased a forklift to support production, set pricing for their smart contacts, and reviewed the cost of production per unit. With their first order of 250 units, Contactix decided to take out a line of credit to support operations.
